CompeteVantage is a data-agnostic, multi-tenant intelligence pipeline. The platform provides automated orchestration tooling — it does not select, endorse, or verify the legality of the destinations its users choose to analyze.

Users bear 100% legal responsibility for every target URL submitted to the platform, including full responsibility for compliance with each target's robots.txt directives, terms of service, and any applicable scraping or data-access restrictions.

By configuring a reconnaissance sweep, you affirm that you have the legal right to access and process the data associated with your submitted targets, and that your scraping intents comply with all local, regional, and international regulations governing the target domains.

CompeteVantage authorizes secure, masked administrative access to workspace configuration data strictly for the purpose of supporting and maintaining your account. Administrative personnel may view tenant settings only through masked, audited interfaces.

The platform's "Help Me Configure" workspace workflow may utilize secure clipboard duplications of your non-sensitive configuration parameters to expedite assisted onboarding. API keys, proxy credentials, and other secrets are never exposed in plaintext during administrative handling and are never shared across tenant boundaries.

All administrative access is logged and limited to the minimum scope necessary to resolve your support request.

The CompeteVantage service is provided on an "as-is" infrastructure basis. The platform makes no warranties or guarantees regarding uninterrupted access to any specific target website, the structural stability of third-party pages, or the continued availability of data behind external network blocks or security firewalls.

Target websites may change their structure, deploy new security measures, or block automated access at any time without notice. CompeteVantage is not liable for targeted site structural changes, network blocks, CAPTCHA deployments, or any data unavailability resulting from third-party protective measures.

Under no circumstances shall CompeteVantage be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use the platform's reconnaissance tooling.
